Paritosh Bailung, a.k.a. COSTHETA, is a Mumbai based rap rock/numetal artist and producer. Hailing from the state of Assam, COSTHETA's major influences include hip hop, nu-metal, rap rock, emo, electronica, and 2000s Bollywood music. He describes his sound as angsty and experimental yet extremely catchy. His debut album CRACKHEAD DIARIES released in October 2024 pioneered a Desi rap-metal sound in the Indian music scene, and was nominated for the Best Rock/Metal Release of the Year at the Indian Music Diaries Awards.


A self-taught vocalist, rapper, multi-instrumentalist and producer - COSTHETA has garnered over 100K+ views and streams across all platforms with an Instagram following of 3.5K+. He has been featured in various music publications, with Rock Street Journal quoting - “You Can Expect To See COSTHETA All Over The Scene Real Soon”. COSTHETA frequents the Bombay and Pune gig scene, most notably CANCEL CULTURE, SCARFEST, UNITED WE GROOVE, BAN FEST, in addition to playing at big college festivals like UNMAAD, IIM BANGALORE and SPRINGSPREE, NIT WARANGAL.
